To reduce our carbon footprint, we focus on the mindful management of energy and resources:
- Green & Local Energy: Our gîtes are powered by 100% renewable electricity (Alpiq) and fitted throughout with energy-efficient LED lighting. For cosy cooler evenings, each cottage features - Besides high-performance electric heaters - a high-efficiency Scandinavian wood-burning stove Jøtul.
- Everyday Sobriety: We prioritise natural air-drying for our household linen. Even our online presence is eco-conscious, thanks to our low-impact, sustainable website hosted here in France.
2. Water Conservation & Waste Management
Water and land are precious resources that we actively protect here in the Côtes-d'Armor:
- Water-Saving Technology: All our gîtes are equipped with eco-friendly fixtures. Furthermore, our wastewater is treated naturally on-site through an ecological phyto-purification (reed bed) system.
- Circular Economy & Zero Waste: Recycling and composting are second nature to us. We repurpose all green waste on-site through mulching and the creation of "Benjes hedges" (dead hedges) to support local habitats. Following this same philosophy, much of our furniture and signage is sourced second-hand or lovingly handcrafted by us.

- Celebrating Breton Terroir: We champion short supply chains. Upon your arrival, you can enjoy delicious organic cider from Le Vieux-Marché and discover a range of high-quality local produce.
