Ideally located for a short break at Ascension or Pentecost, or for a summer holiday: The Manoir de Goaz Froment is only 20 minutes from the beaches, in the heart of a bucolic bocage nature on a 5.5 ha estate. A peaceful stay between land and sea, the ideal starting point for your excursions in the Pink Granite Coast region, by car, bike or on foot.
Our three 3-star cottages are located in the outbuildings of the Manoir de Goaz Froment, a Renaissance building built at the end of the 16th century, rich in history and its seigneurial past; the Marquis de Lafayette is said to have stayed there in 1801. Heritage and nature lovers will appreciate the following on our property: the flax retting mills, the moats, the old quarry of the manor, the protected wetland, the centuries-old trees (chestnut, purple beech, yew).
The sunsets last longer in spring here in Brittany. It is also an ideal time to get some fresh air in a bubble of nature in Brittany, near the Pink Granite Coast, in a place full of history. Enjoy activities like the Bretons by taking part in the many legendary fest-noz celebrations.

In the old "bakery" of the manor, the Oven House, we have restored the ground floor to create a cozy studio with everything you need!
The terrace at the back invites you to have breakfast in the sun quietly with a view of the garden and the forest.
As soon as you enter this cottage, the old barn, your gaze plunges directly towards the outside through the bay window where you have a privileged view of the manor and the forest in the background.

Here, there is no more cart or hay! Today, it is a living room/dining room and a kitchen area.
On the first floor, the double bedroom with its four-poster bed and the other bedroom with two single beds which can be transformed into a double bedroom by putting the two beds together. In addition, a small office is there for teleworking.
The former sharecropper's (the manager of the manor) home became our first self-catering cottage in 2018. From 3 nights except July-August.
The large kitchen open to the living/dining room offers you a friendly and warm space to cook with family or friends on holiday.
As cozy as the other gîtes, the special feature here is that you have two separate single bedrooms in addition to the double bedroom. For teleworking, a desk is installed in one of the two single bedrooms.

After a hike or a long day of sightseeing in the region, do you want to relax? Book a sauna session!
In the old Guard House, just above the routoirs, we have installed a Scandinavian sauna heated by wood. The crackling of the wood will lull you to sleep... Relax on the terrace at the back or in the house between each session.
To visit the region's must-see landmarks and emblematic places of Brittany, the Manoir de Goaz Froment is ideally located less than 15 minutes from the RN 12 (Rennes-Brest axis).
You are in 15 minutes from Lannion, 30 minutes from Perros-Guirec, Ploumanac'h, Trégastel, Tréguier or Morlaix, 45 minutes from Île-de-Bréhat or Paimpol, 55 minutes from Roscoff to board for Île-de-Batz.
Trégor is labeled "Pays d'Art et d'Histoire" and is dotted with "Petites Cités de Caractères" and "Villes d'Art et d'Histoire".
The Plouaret-Trégor TGV station is a seven-minute drive from our gîtes
You can rent a car in Plouaret from a dealer or electric bikes from the Plouaret Tourist Office in summer.
With us, set off on foot or by bike directly from your cottage***. Many marked trails are located in front of our doors in addition to the famous customs officers' path, the GR®34.
Admire the bocage landscapes, the fields and the Léguer valley. The closest and best known is the Chemin des Améthystes, but many other PRs are present and pass by jewels of the region's heritage: chapels, manors, farms, castles, calvaries, fountains, wash houses, routoirs...
And if it's too hot, why not take advantage of the wild beach of Trégrom to cool off? On the banks of the Léguer, labeled Wild River of Europe (the only one in Brittany).

We love nature! We have designed the gardens around the "English style" houses in bloom all year round - in the rest of the estate, in the park, it is "The Wild Garden" according to the idea of the English botanist William Robinson. Take some time and walk with our plan (an explanatory route).
The entire estate of the Manoir de Goaz Froment is an "LPO Refuge" (League for the Protection of Birds). It is a land where wild fauna and flora are protected according to the principles of the Charter of Refuges and the 15 actions favorable to biodiversity that result from this Charter.
In June 2017 we woke up the Manoir de Goaz Froment, the sleeping beauty, the Renaissance building from 1598 with its outbuildings dating from the following centuries.
We created the three cottages as if we lived there: all the objects were found during our life and our travels and each one has a little story! Designers by trade, we like to mix the old and the contemporary.

Upon arrival at your cottage, we will give you "our best addresses." On our map, we have also indicated our best clean beaches thanks to the organization "Eau & rivières de Bretagne" which publishes a map called "La belle plage" via their website. We are happy to announce that "our most beautiful beaches" are also cleaner! Check for yourself: the blue or green dot is good - you can jump in the water without any problem. The same goes for «fishing on foot» (pêche à pied): find out before collecting shells!
